THE BIOGRAPHY
The Pandemonium- Since their inception in 2004, they've become a cohesive musical machine capable of some impressive sounds. Still, there's a threshold that every fledgeling band needs to pass before making it big, and as hard as they've worked, these seventeen year old boys and girls have yet to prove their target audiences 'what they are made of'.
Combining hard-core, emo, and rock, they attempt to reinterpret the once narrow definition of "punk". Distorted amps and catchy choruses, combined with versatility and passionate energy give this band a sound that stands out among the army of guitar wielding clones that have recently flooded the punk music scene.
Most of the songs composed are nothing more than garbled teenage angst mixed with self recrimination, frustration, longing, and regret. Imagine a sexually frustrated teenager writing country music lyrics, then setting them to catchy punk music; that should give you a pretty clear idea of what this album is about.
Harsh as that sounds, this band has their personal appeal. Their lyrics, while not deep, are honest and from the heart. They talk about things that teenagers all over deal with on a daily basis, and they coat it in a shell of power chords and vocal harmonies that grab you and energize you. Taking that into account, it stands to be repeated: The Pandemonium has definite potential.
